Release - Eden Restored: Episode 1 v0.1.0

Sensory Noir is proud to release a working demo of our first project, Eden Restored: Episode 1. This adult visual novel takes the player to the distant future, where humanity and civilization is a far cry from the twenty-first century. It is an early release of what is planned to be a ten or eleven chapter episode in an on-going saga. This version (v0.1.0) encompasses the Prologue and Chapter One of the main story; there will be additional tweaks and improvements to this portion of the game as time goes on, so be sure to follow us. We encourage everyone to download it, play it, and provide as much feedback as possible; we take every suggestion seriously and want to tell our story as effectively and spectacularly as possible. And we want you to enjoy it!

This milestone marks a first for our team: developing and releasing a game, learning the nuances along the way, and working as a cohesive unit that plays to individual strengths. Each of us comes from a technology background where we found ourselves craving artistic and creative outlets on a daily basis. Through our personal relationships (and frequent laments), a decision was reached that we should pursue these outlets as a team and let our dreams/desires be our guides. In that moment, Sensory Noir was born.

The feedback we have already received has been incredibly helpful and positive. Honestly, just having users play and enjoy something we made has given us all the motivation we need to continue, to complete, and to expand our offerings. The indie game community has been unbelievably welcoming and I know my fellow VN fans are always supportive of new content and new voices. We will post frequent DevLogs as news permits, but let us know in the comments what specific development updates you would like to receive and we will do our best to accommodate. Let's make 2025 a breakout year for Sensory Noir, visual novels, and the entire indie game community as a whole!
